General Questions
Do you take insurance?
You can use FSA & HSA to pay for your assisted-stretching sessions. Check with your fund to confirm eligibility.
What if I'm injured?
If you have an injury, I would advise you to consult a medical professional to get their seal of approval on an activity like stretching. Once cleared, schedule your session!
Is Stephanie certified?
I have a bachelor’s of science degree in kinesiology with an emphasis on health and fitness. I also minored in psychology because I felt like the two tied in so well together! I loved school so much and all there was to learn that I went on to receive a master’s degree in exercise science. I recently became certified in nutrition coaching and neuromuscular stretching. To date, I have over 200 hours of hands-on experience with real clients ranging in ages from 13 to 96.
*Anyone under 18 must have parental consent and a parent must be present for the session.
Who is assisted-stretching right for?
Pretty much everybody! Whether you have a desk job or you’re always on the move. Whether you are a marathoner or a powerlifter. Whether you are an avid gym-goer or if you prefer the spa. Assisted-stretching is right for you! That said, if you have an injury that you are concerned about, please consult a doctor beforehand just to make sure you’re cleared for an activity like stretching.

About your session
What is the benefit of an assisted-stretch session compared to chiropractic care, massage, and physical therapy?
I am a big proponent of a variety of forms of recovery and self-care, and I believe that everything works really well together! Regular chiropractic care, massage, and physical therapy are all great to help you feel your best 1:1 assisted-stretching is unique in that it provides 1:1 dedicated time to lengthen your muscles to improve flexibility and range of motion.
What do I wear for an assisted stretch session?
Socks are required for all stretches, as well as clothing that allows you to stretch and move in easily. Think of what you would typically wear to exercise and that’ll work best!
Does it hurt?
Absolutely not! The stretches feel soooo good! I will gently ease you into each stretch and will consistently check in with you to make sure you are comfortable and breathing properly throughout the entire session. It is not uncommon for muscles to feel like they have been worked afterwards though - especially if you are stretching muscles that haven’t been stretched in a long time.
Should I have an assisted stretch before or after a workout?
Both have their benefits! A pre-workout stretch warms up your muscles, can reduce risk of injury, and boost your performance. A post-workout stretch speeds recovery by flushing out metabolic waste, increasing blood flow, and lengthening muscles that have just been contracted. It’s also very relaxing! Whether you like to stretch before or after a workout, it is important to drink plenty of water to maintain hydration levels and to help flush out the metabolic waste.
What is a typical assisted stretch session like?
Essentially, I’ll ask about your goals, areas you really want to focus on, any past or present injuries, and then we get to it! You’ll get a deep, but heavenly full-body, hands-on stretch like you’ve never had before. Expect me to stay in communication with you throughout your session to make sure you are comfortable and pain-free, but I will also not talk your ear off.
